This is not the way to save your passwords

Look, I know 15 character, multi-symboled, including 3 numbers and 4 capital letter passwords are no picnic or walk in the park and should probably be outlawed but this is no way to store them. There are plenty of password managers out there like KeePass, Billeo, and PassPack (now known as Passpack) — so please use them instead of this.

Check out the blog post at SECURE-ID’s blog below.

No, no, no, it certainly isn’t the right way. It’s right out in the open, fer cryinoutloud. You have to flip the thing and write them on the BACK! Encryption plus physical restrictions.

    Reed,
That is most definitely a better way of recording passwords. In addition to that, you should combine it with my post at Srcasm about how to keep it real. (http://srcasm.com/2008/04/10/how-to-keep-your-password-hidden-in-plain-sight/)

    Thanks for the input. :)

I usually write my passwords on a stone tablet I keep next to my desk but since I started working for Vidoop I have been using the plugin from http://myvidoop.com

    Kevin,
Just installed the Vidoop toolbar and it’s very nice. I will be doing a writeup about this at some point. Great job guys!

    Hi Jesse,

Thanks for the feedback, happy to hear your thoughts on how we can improve it.
