This Is Why Arnold Will Always Be A Legend In Bodybuilding

Not because he won so many bodybuilding competitions, but how he won those competitions. Arnold Schwarzenegger was big back then. He wasn’t huge and he wasn’t the biggest. These days every dude in the gym with an ego bigger than his brain, is trying to be bigger than the next guy and using any means possible to do so. It seems like nobody is trying to achieve that perfect look anymore.
Lets start off by saying that Arnold Schwarzenegger is a genetic freak. His body grew in to a great frame to start off with. When he started bodybuilding he worked it in a way that everything was symmetrical and if he had a weak point that was smaller and not proportionate to to the rest of his body, he would work on it. Like I said though, genetics plays a big roll in how your body frame is built and exactly how your muscles grow. Some people are natural growers and others can not gain weight easily.
These days the competitors get so big and ripped, dry themselves out to the point that they are very dehydrated and weak by the competition day. Then they slather the darkening agent on them so thick to bring out every vein, crease and ripple in their body. That to me, looks very disgusting. I think the body builders of Arnolds time look a lot better
