It certainly sounds like a 20 to 90% increase in ad revenue for free would be worth the initial thought and sign up while Pubmatic is in Beta. Hat tip to Revenews.

Pubmatic – The first question you’ll see when you arrive at the site is: “Is your ad inventory working as hard as you are?” The very next statement that flashes across your screen will be “Earn more money in less than ten minutes.”

Press Release – The first statement on their Press Release begins “PubMatic Launches Beta and Serves Up 90% Revenue Increase for Web Publishers.” They then move on to say: “Over 400 publishers selling millions of ad impressions daily are realizing revenue increases of 20% to 90% with PubMatic.”

What Publishers Need To Know“PubMatic ensures that you, as the publisher, get the most revenue possible for your web site’s ad inventory. PubMatic uses sophisticated analytics and real time connections to all of the leading ad networks to determine the optimum ad style for you (size, color, text/banner/video format, etc.) and the optimum ad network for you to use. The PubMatic beta optimizes for ad color only; additional optimization such as size, format, and more will be added in the near future.”

About Pubmatic – “PubMatic is currently in an exciting Beta phase. If you are a publisher interested in taking advantage of PubMatic’s services for FREE, please register here.

PubMatic was founded in 2006 and is based in the Bay Area, California and Pune and Mumbai, India. PubMatic is backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Helion Ventures.”

This is what Duncan Riley reported about them on TechCrunch;

“PubMatic is a meta ad server that sits between online publishers and online ad networks like Google AdSense, Yahoo Publisher Network and Value Click. Their service helps small- and medium-sized publishers manage and maximize their advertising inventory by seamlessly communicating with multiple ad networks to help them find the optimal ad layout and the highest paying ad network. They also provide them with a central dashboard to track all their ad networks and ad configurations.”
