You've definitely made me think twice about switching to FIOS. I actually ended up going to my parent's house to watch the fight since they have DirecTV. No problems there except the HD charge was $10 more than the standard def feed. These cable companies really do seem to be dropping the ball on HD sporting events. Aren't we at the point where HDTVs have saturated the market? Shouldn't HD programming be the norm at this point? Especially for sports. I'm a sports fan love to watch all my games and ppv fights in hd on my sony lcd tv. But this weekend the big boxing event of the year cotto and margarito fight was only broadcasted standard on verizon fios NOT HIGH DEF. WHY??? What happened fios who dropped the ball? Can anyone tell me if i this is common with fios and should I expect this for all upcoming ppv boxing events. I'm seriously considering highly on switching back to optimum.
