Thriller on the District Line

Jo pointed me towards this video, of a group of dancers getting up and performing a dance from Thriller on the District Line tubeline between stations.

It’s got the perfect English reaction, some people moving away then polite applause at the end; I think it’s more than you’d get on the New York subway though. There does not appear to be anyone collecting money at the end of it, so this does not appear to be a revenue generating performance.

Interestingly, in both the YouTube and Metro comments there are suggestions that this is promotional activity for the 25th anniversary edition of Thriller. If it is, I love the idea. Perform it enough times and get some word of mouth, whilst doing something that is entertaining. Now if someone would just teach me how to do the dance, I could go join in ;)
