Half Life 2 sucked!!

I kid. Seriously. Can’t imagine how many people I angered at that one comment. Hehe

Anyways. Little help from Blue’s News on finding this article about the HL2 expansion or whatever they want to call it. I’ve been waiting a while for this. HL2 ended in that frustrating bit of a cliff hanger and I’ll be damned if I’m gonna wait another 6 or so years for an addition to the storyline. So hopefully Aftermath will help fill in some of the gaps. If anything it’ll fill that craving we’ve all had.

SiN Episodes:Emergence. I never played the first SiN but I heard it was a little buggy. I was young-ish when it first came out(Oct 31, 1998 ) and coming from a relatively conservative family the mere title alone made sure that I was never going to play it. So now here they are with a sequel of sorts. Watching some of the game play footage it looks to be a mediocre shooter. They’re using the Source engine which I could immediately tell with the blatant use of the ear-ringining thing they did in HL2. Apparently the biggest beef with the game is the fact that it’s going to be sold in Episodes. Hence the name. They’ll sell in the range for $20 or less (according to rumor) and there’s about 9 of them. That’s quite a bit of change to put down. I might grab the first one just to try it out. We’ll see what the reviews say.

Spending $180 on a shooting game? But wait, the ger is cute.

Maybe I will consider spending 20 bucks first.

If only the prettiness of the girls could determine how well a game would turn out. Oh well.

Well I think they’ll release the episodes incrementally so that you won’t have to spend $180 bucks or so initially. They’ll space it out over a longer time frame that way it won’t feel like you’re spending that much money ;)

    Good morning.

I am thinking of buying Call of Duty 2 for the pc and I found this blog via google. I would like to know if any of your blog readers would recommend this game? I have read some reviews and it seems to be a good game, but i try to get as many opinions as possible before parting with my cash.

Any help would be great. Cool blog by the way.

    Bill.

Thanks for the comment, nice to see someone who enjoys the blog. Personally I liked Call of Duty 2. It’s your typical WWII game but it was fun and I had a good time playing. I haven’t played the multiplayer portion yet, but that’s just me. I’m not quite sure what other people feel about it in that regard. Is it worth the $50 or $60(collector’s edition) dollars? I’m not sure. It depends on how strongly you feel about getting it and what’s pressing you to pick it up. I definately wouldn’t pay $60 for it again. Wait till it’s in the $40 range or lower.
