Timberlake Talks About New Show “The Phone”

Singer, Justin Timberlake, is behind a new show called The Phone which premieres on MTV this Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 10pm ET/PT.
The six-episode series will attempt to blend reality TV with the intensity of an action film by dropping every day people into the middle of a suspenseful adventure.
According to the press release, four strangers will be contacted by a mysterious voice on their phone and will be invited to participate in the game. If they press “one” they have chosen to play along and follow the instruction with a chance to win up to $50,000. The four strangers are split up into two teams of two players each and they will be led through a series of tasks that sound like something out of a thriller (hanging from Seattle’s Space Needle or running into a burning building to save someone’s life, for example).
Did you ever see the movie The Game starring Michael Douglas? This show plot reminds me of that film, which I liked very much. I know that my heart will be pounding but I plan on giving The Phone a chance.
