Timberland, the maker of outdoor wear, has decided to stay put in Stratham, New Hampshire. Since the beginning of 2008, Timberland was searching for a new home. When all was said and done, the company decided to stay. This news was first reported by Foster’s Daily Democrat.

One of the places that was the city of Portsmouth. However, Timberland will stay and work with their current building and try to update their facilities. The company has been located in Stratham for about 15 years.

Originally founded in Boston in 1952, Timberland is mostly known for their boots. Known as Timmies, Timbs or Timbos, Timberland boots have been extremely popular for more than a decade. While they are useful when outdoors and when hiking, their boots are also popular in modern urban culture and fashion.

Around the world, Timberland has nearly 3,500 employees.
