Great idea.

This is just my (non-techie) opinion, but as I just read the post by Jeremiah Owyang that you pointed to in your other Diigo group ("My Essential Twitter Tools"), I'm thinking it would be really useful to combine a meet-up with a sort of Twitter-how-to tutorial. I opened a Twitter account some time ago and never use it, not least b/c I feel so alone there and I can't figure out how to integrate it seamlessly into whatever else I do. So my "ideal" tutorial would be "Why Twitter isn't just another Tamagotchi that's gonna die on you if you don't maintain it" or something like that.

Seeing Jeremiah's pointer to TwitterLocal let me understand that it's *useful* and not just a maintenance task. More like that would be helpful.
