Last month, former and present coaches at the University of Washington took a little time out to participate in the 37th annual UW Coaches Tour Golf Tournament.

The picture at right, of former linebackers/recruiting coordinator Dick Baird setting up his shot was taken at Port Orchard, but the coaches participated in a number of golfing events – in Tacoma, Spokane, Everett, Bellingham, Yakima, and Longview in addition to the Port Orchard. After each event, the coaches participated in a meet and greet banquet with fans.

This 6-week-long event is held annually to help raise money for student scholarships. Over the last five years, they’ve raised over $260,000!
