Internet radio is listened to by millions of people. Many of the services are free and depend on advertising revenue for survival. If you are thinking about marketing on internet radio, here are some tips to consider before you launch your campaign:

1. Listen and learn
You should always know where your money is going. Listening to various internet radio stations can give you a good idea of the quality and where your money will best be spent.

2. Start small
When marketing on internet radio, the best idea is to start small. It’s not a successful marketing avenue for everyone so start slow and spend your time tracking the results.

3. Time it well
Since internet radio marketing offers live advertising, you should consider the timing. For example, if you are having a one-day sale, purchase more spots on that day to highlight the sale.

4. Keep it fresh
Like anything else, your internet radio commercial will soon get ignored. Switch it up frequently to keep it fresh.
