Titans’ Alge Crumpler Took Dance Lessons

I think it’s great when a football player goes outside of his comfort zone to get better (faster, more agile) with his game. I really applaud Alge Crumpler, who took dance lessons at the Fred Astaire dance studio with his wife in the offseason.

Now, he might not have done it with the intention of improving his game, but you know that all those footwork moves have to help him playing tight end. Those guys, regardless of the fact that they are huge, have to be fast on their feet. They’ve gotta be built like brick houses and move like they are dancers.
Crumpler has taken some shots about his weight, which is listed at 262 (although one source says Crumpler admits he’s nowhere near that amount.) Titans Coach Jeff Fisher would like Crumpler to lose a few pounds, but I have to say if he’s heavy and yet agile at the same time, it might work for his advantage.
