Pain: Movie Studio

The holidays are a time for giving, so if you’re able, make sure to give what you can to Child’s Play. This charity, run by the wonderful folks over at Penny Arcade, helps provide kids in hospitals across the world with games and toys to help them get through a tough time in their lives. It’s a wonderful program, and a great way to show how awesome the gaming community is. And with that said, let’s check out what’s new in the world of PlayStation.

  • A demo for Resident Evil 5 could be coming. Even better news, unlike Devil May Cry 4, the PS3 version of RE5 won’t feature a mandatory hard disk install.
  • A trailer originally shown back at the Tokyo Game Show for the PSP fighter Dissidia: Final Fantasy has finally been released, revealing the entire cast of characters. These include Terra, Kefka, and none other then Cloud Strife.
  • Sony has laid down some rules for LittleBigPlanet level creation, all of which seem pretty obvious. Keep it age appropriate and staying away from others intellectual property.
  • Pain: Movie Studio will launch on PSN tomorrow, and along with it comes David Hasselhoff as a playable character. This is your chance to get back at him for the various incarnations of Knight Rider!
