Watchmen: The End is Nigh

Well, it looks like the holidays have finally started. Not only is it snowing over at PSM HQ, but the deluge of new releases is simply overwhelming. It looks like I may have to set up a schedule in order to play as much as I can, and put off a few others so that I can really enjoy them. Fallout 3, I’m looking at you. Anyways, on to the news of the day.

  • If you were about to publish your Super Mario Bros. tribute level in LittleBigPlanet you may want to hold on, as recent reports show that any levels that infringe on intellectual properties are being deleted without warning. Hopefully this gets sorted out soon.
  • Dead Space will be getting a whole bunch of downloadable content soon. In fact, there will be 14 different content packs, including 2 PS3 exclusive ones.
  • In news we’ve heard plenty of times, Valve is saying once again that the zombie shooter Left 4 Dead will not be coming to the PS3. Boo.
  • The pirate themed real time strategy title Age of Booty will finally be coming to the PlayStation Network on November 13
  • Watchmen fans take note, the upcoming issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly will be filled with all kinds of info on the Watchmen: The End is Nigh downloadable game. And the best part is that all signs point to the game being very true to the source material.
  • Some very lucky people got their hands on the upcoming Persona 4. Check out their impressions over at 1up and IGN.
