What a sad story. It’s impossible for “regular folks” to relate to this kind of situation. We had the same thing here with Leaf, and I still cannot figure out what his problem was. Years after the fact, I feel sorry for the guy because it really is pathetic what he’s done with his life, but I think your question of “why” is the big one, and one that none of us probably can answer…
