NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Brady injured
Tom Brady was found limping in New York City. After being spotted he was asked in interviews about his right foot.
On Monday, Brady did not directly answer a question about being hurt during his regular appearance on WEEI’s “Dennis and Callahan” show. When asked if his leg was injured he said:
“There are always kind of bumps and bruises. I’ll be ready for the Super Bowl. I’m not missing this one. I’d have to be on a stretcher to miss this one. There will just be some treatment this week and, like I said, games like this you get a little nicked up but it’s nothing serious.” source
It appears to be a high ankle sprain and not real serious.
Have you ever had a high ankle sprain? Not real serious still constitutes the inability to really move quickly.
Keep in mind the Giants rush with their front four, especially Michael Strahan and Osi Umenyiora the defensive ends.
Hmm, here is Tom Brady talking about footwork.
At least he has two weeks to rest up. Hard to hit Randy Moss deep when you can’t escape the rush.
Eli Jinxed
Eli Manning was placed on the cover of SI.

Brett Favre was recently on the cover. Jinxed.
Amani Toomer was on the cover after the Giants cremated the Vikings to win the NFC in 2001. They went on to lose the Super Bowl. Jinxed.
What was SI’s response?
SI spokeswoman Karen Dmochowsky laughed off any talk of the curse and said readers will find inside that senior writer Paul “Dr. Z” Zimmerman is picking the Giants to win.
But, she added ominously: “I was at the game and I’m a Packer fan.” source
Could the two quarterbacks be drumming up some drama?
The Giants are 12 point underdogs. Not that any of that matters to them. They have also won 10 straight road games.
NFL Football Fan Question Do you believe in the SI Jinx?

I like the tone and flow of your blogs. Fun with some sarcastic insight. I like the addition of the video clip on footwork by Brady. Now for a clip on footwork by the Dallas Cowgirls.
Like the way you think, man. Will definitely be looking to post a youtube on the Cowboy Cheerleaders!
More dangerous than the SI jinx is the jinx when you do a commercial that says you’re “unstoppable”. So far it’s worked out, but I think it comes to an end in the Super Bowl.
