Tom Brady to the Rescue

Here we were, having a good time with the whole Jessica Simpson-Tony Romo vacation thing, not to mention Terrell Owens’ crying jag following the Dallas Cowboys’ loss (sort of).
And then our football hero, Tom Brady of the New England Patriots, had to take the fun out of our snarkiness (sort of).
Quarterbacks with famous girlfriends stick together—at least when it comes to the media scrutiny they get with said arm charms. During an appearance on a Boston radio station, Gisele Bundchen’s more five o-clock shadowed half said:
“Everybody has lives. We work seven months, eight months, out of the year. You still have a life to live. On the weekends you do whatever you do to relax and rejuvenate. It’s not like they can go to the local eatery in Dallas and hang out.”
Now, we heart Tom-Tom and all, but that didn’t keep us from snorting Godiva hot chocolate—which luckily wasn’t too hot—when we read that timeline. We can’t speak for everyone else on the planet, but most people who earn an income via ”work” do the daily grind eleven, twelve months out of the year. And if they work less than that (like teachers or seasonal laborers), most aren’t pulling down paychecks in the seven digits.
But we get Tom’s point.
We can’t help it, though. Like many other media peeps who cover pop culture, we’re still secretly hoping for a BIG Brady-Bundchen-Romo-Simpson vacances planned for the off-season . . .

Does this mean he and Gisele will be vacationing—did anyone tell John?
Sssh! Don’t say anything . . .
