Tony Parker’s Heels

Yeah, we admit. The title was a hook, and we really only mean one heel. And it’s not the kind his wife and Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria wears or the snazzy sort reviewed daily here.
Alas, the San Antonio Spurs guard has a bone spur (medical/team name pun not intended) on his left heel. The red hot Spurs with a Capital S were Parkerless Tuesday night and lost 88-85 to the Seattle Sonics. The loss marks their third in a row, and the team hasn’t fared well when Parker sits: They’re 1-4 for the games he’s missed.
The taller portion of the Longoria-Parker pair had an MRI yesterday. Coach Gregg Popovich said his star ballhandler (keep it clean, people) will be out indefinitely.
Yes, we could make a weird joke about Tony Parker injuring his heel while trying on Eva’s heels before the premiere for her film Over Her Dead Body, but does anybody really want to go there?
