Top 10 reasons why the Killzone 2 multiplayer video is manufactured
If you’ve been browsing the Internet these past few days, then you may have chanced upon the new “multiplayer” video for Killzone 2, which was shown over at the Leipzig Games Convention. There has been talk regarding its authenticity, since it all sounds manufactured.
Here are top 10 reasons why the Killzone 2 multiplayer video is a fake:
- The voices actually sound like that of grown men, not of twelve-year-old kids whose certain reproductive parts haven’t matured.
- Only minor swearing was heard.
- There were no references to one’s sexual orientation.
- Players used teamwork.
- No one used strafe-jumping or bunny hopping.
- Beaten players didn’t complain about lag.
- The medic healed a fallen teammate.
- Nobody uses “Bam” as an exclamation in multiplayer.
- Nobody took down another player using a melee attack.
- No teabagging.

Not to mention that it STILL doesn’t look like Toy Story or Shrek quality graphics.
LOL…Sony.
Good point, especially since the original Killzone 2 trailer (you know, the one people doubted) looked fantastic in a Hollywood CG sort of way, while this one looked more grounded.
But still fake.
LOL Sony.
What? No link to the video?
Sorry about that. Here’s the video:
The visual quality of this original pre-rendered video and the current glut of trailers may be similar but you’ll notice that this one is still more impressive, particularly because the movement (head-bobbing) looks more natural.
