Top 4 Candidates – Which One Do You Choose?

american-flag.jpgWe are down to the top 4 candidates in the Presidential race here in the United States. As a hiring manager, how do you narrow them down and pick the one that will actually take your company or country to the next level?

What criteria will you use? Will it be the person with the most money, or the most medals? Maybe the motivational candidate or the one that brings a double portion of political experience to the table. Which one?

When hiring managers are looking at their top 4 candidates, it can some times come down to who you like the best. If that is your criteria in selecting the next President of the United States, my next question is why do you like them? Does it have anything to do with their ability to lead this country?

Leadership is at the top of my list. I want someone who can lead this country. I want someone who will care about all the people in the United States. I want someone who can hit the ground running on day one. Not someone who walks into the oval office and wonders how they got there, though every one of them may actually do that. What I am looking for in the next President of the United States may be different than what you are looking for, but I dare you to come up with criteria for yourself. Come up with some specific things that you are looking for and then search until you find the right candidate. Vote! Make a decision about which candidate you “like” and Vote!
