It may come with a bit of bias since I am keeping a blog on the Olympics but, hey, read the reasons perhaps you’ll find them reason enough to love this, too.
#1 The Olympics is a great way to measure the superiority of an athlete’s skill.
#2 The Olympics is a grand event that brings countries together, brings out patriotic feelings for both athlete and spectator.
#3 Like with every sport, the Olympics provides an avenue to test the limits of the human body — mentally, physically, emotionally, etc.
#4 The Olympics is a celebration of tradition, history and legacy.
#5 The Olympics, as an organised sporting event, promotes and celebrates the participation of Women athletes.
So, tell me. Aren’t these reasons enough? What about you? What about the Olympic Games do you love? Leave your thoughts on the comment area below!

I love #4 on your list. That’s a huge reason why I really like the Olympics.
But really, my favorite thing about the Olympics is the skiing. It might sound dumb, but I’m just amazed by it. The downhill racing, the jumping, all of it. I can’t ski at all … so the whole thing is just so amazing to me.
