Franchise agreements are very one sided. The top 5 on your list has one with a severe history of legal battles with their franchisees. I entered and had a store wherein Franchisor abused, demanded purchase of new equipment constantly, had agreements with substandard equipment at top dollar prices. I got the feeling kickbacks were in there somewhere. The franchisor is deceitful as to reasons for store closings. "Remodel" is a word often used when in fact the franchisor has bled the franchisee dry and forced out of business. When one agrees to a francise, they are simply purchasing a JOB and you are at the mercy of the franchisor who employes less than capable persons to control the puppet strings they have attached to the franchisee. I wonder if the TOP CAT ever knows how much he diminished the lives of those who have been dunkin their total wealth and emotional self in their franchise.

I saw your posting and thought you would be interested in hearing about how my client Wireless Toyz Cellular Superstores has achieved national mega-chain status in what’s been described as “breakneck speed growth.” Wireless Toyz catapulted onto Inc. 500’s 2006 list of fastest growing privately-held U.S. companies and is ranked #1 in category and 98th fastest-growing franchise by Entrepreneur Magazine in the 2008 Franchise 500. All locations have a professional appearance, major regional and national service providers in one location, easy, one-stop shopping experience for consumers, advertising and marketing efforts that set them apart from competitors, certified “Wireless Expertz” with in-depth product and service knowledge, open display cases enabling consumers to compare and contrast products, ongoing product training and promotional and networking events. Learn more about how to choose a franchise or determine whether a franchise business is right for you by contacting Richard Simtob at 866-2FRANCHISE or email him at franchise@wirelesstoyz.com. You may also visit www.wirelesstoyz.com/franchise for more information.
