The Jaguars desperately need a wide receiver and Holt would be a very good option. The 32-year-old out of North Carolina State is coming off the worst statistical season of his career but he’s been one of the most productive wide receiver in his ten-year career.
In total, Holt has 869 receptions for 12,660 yards and 74 touchdowns. The best year of his career came in 2003 when he had 117 receptions, 1,696 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also won a Super Bowl ring while with the Rams.
In Jacksonville, Holt would help replace Matt Jones, Jerry Porter and Reggie Williams. All three of those wide receivers were let go by the Jaguars during the offseason.
