Toyota asked to invest in jet project
Teaming with Mitsubishi to build a jet that responds to your TV remote
Japan’s top automaker Toyota said it has been asked to invest in a project with Mitsubishi to build the first “made in Japan” passenger aircraft in three decades. Each seat will have its own cupholder.
Toyota also plans to introduce a hybrid jet targeted to pretentious, self-righteous passengers and celebrities. According to a spokesperson, “We know we can count on orders from Leonardo DiCaprio and Angelina Jolie, who will be able to use the time she saves flying to alphabetize her orphans.”
