(www.bizchicksrule.com) — Summer’s nearly over, and it may be time to kick up your resume if you want to get ahead in the fall job search. I’ve culled the Internet for some great resources you’ll want to keep right at your side while you work on polishing your personal marketing documents. Check ‘em out.
- Resume Templates from Google Docs – Modern, classic, and everything in between.
- Pongo Resumes – Free trial of the resume templates, resume and cover letter builder, and and expert guidance.
- ResumeTemplates.org – More than 250 templates for dozens of job categories, plus tips and a list of mistakes to avoid.
- Microsoft Resume Templates – Tons of options, but watch out for complicated tables. They’re more trouble than they’re worth.
- Resume-Templates.com – It ain’t free, but at $9.95, it’s pretty darn cheap for 250 samples, 20+ resume templates, and worksheets, guides, and tutorials. (Always do your own research before spending a dime!)
- CollegeGrad.com Quickstart Resumes – Geared toward recent graduates and organized by major. How handy!
- LandThatJob.com – Classy chronological, functional, combination, and executive templates.
- JobBankUSA.com – Kind of ad heavy, but some useful examples of resumes in a variety of specialty areas.
- Southworth.com – Three Word-friendly templates: modern, executive, and sophisticated.
Do you have a resource you’d like to share? Leave a link in the comments!
