Treat Secretaries Like Gold

The final part of our video series taken from YouTube, this gem is probably way over the top, but it makes a valid point.

The difference I see between this video and reality is that many callers tend to be mean to the secretaries without actually saying anything negative about the person they’re trying to reach. What I find really ironic is that this video is a bit derogatory to secretaries (probably unintentionally) because they show the secretary polishing her nails.

I don’t know about you but when I was young and working as a secretary, I was too busy working my fingers to the bone to polish my nails.

Treat secretaries well and your messages will get through. Send a gift and you have a better chance of the secretary saying something like, “I really think you need to call this one back.” A secretary’s opinion is worth a lot in many companies, and it is a good idea to treat them well.
