Security researchers at Trend Micro have pinpointed RSS (Really Simple Syndication) technology as a lucrative target for future bot worm attacks. They warned that RSS feed hijacking will become commonplace when Microsoft ships IE7 that will feature built-in RSS support. IE7 will make RSS al lot easier and will be able to download (and execute?) content automatically.
Well, i dont think so. I agree with Larry Seltzer’s article, you can always unsubscribe a feed and next to that, I think MS has learned its lesson and will try to secure there software this time… And also, who says IE7 wil hit a homerun? Just pass me the firefox!
