On Sunday, top trending search was Antinori Wines, which was the result of a profile on CBS 60 minutes. The link between searches and TV mentions- news, ads or programmes – is something I see forgotten far too often and opportunities are lost. If your SEO is poor and organic search results don’t bring up what you’d like them to, consider buying some keywords. In this case, the winemaker has adjusted their home page to reflect the interview.

Paddington Bear was hot on Monday, as it was announced that he was making a comeback (a comback, I never knew he’d gone). Tuesday, Sam Adams was one of the favourites as they announced their Autumn beers, in particular a range called Utopias that retail at over $100. You;d never know it from their website though, as there seems to be no mention of the range. The last update to the news is from Dec 07, so the brand is not looking after its online self at all.
