How well does your team trust each other?
Dan Oestreich at Unfolding Leadership has done a wonderful job of putting together a team trust level survey.
He is making the survey available for public use with appropriate attribution and non commercial use.
I think it would be an exceptional tool for any team or team leader.

In my case I would have better luck jumping into a pit of snakes then to trust my co-workers.
CK,
I hope they are garter snakes. We have snake pits near where I live and in spring they are very interesting to visit and to grab a handful of snakes. But they are garter snakes.
David
CK,
I am sorry you had that negative experience. There are teams where people can trust each other, and others that are a mess — that are indeed “snake pits.” There should be a warning label. I wish you the best in finding a place to work where you and your strengths are better valued.
Sometimes we do need to find a new place. Even good companies are not good for everyone. Well said Dan.
