Sometimes an ad comes along and nothing else needs to be said. Judging by the above I’d agree this writer is lacking professional experience. I’m not sure an English Lit. major is what’s needed to write a book about cancer or HIV, but hey, he’s the one not paying the writer. He can’t be too choosy. Besides, I’d say anyone is better than the current author, if you know what I mean.















I haven’t looked recently, but in the mid 1990’s this was a common arrangement for unsolicted work with the big game publishers (TSR, Palladium etc) Writting for table top gaming pretty much sucks because new commers have to take a chance that the publisher will not pay them or give them credit for thier work, but I don’t find this ad surprising at all. I think in that particular industry, many people are willing to work for free (even if its just because they don’t know any better) so the amount of stuff that will come in amouunts to massive quantities, with a few gems mixed in.
