Trying IE7 Again

I decided to try the IE7 beta again to see what’s improved. I really like it! I think they’ve done a better job of organizing and streamlining the default interface, although they have made it hard to really adjust it to even a more minimalist state like I prefer. I really try to shrink and stack toolbars and buttons as much as possible and I’m a little limited as to what I can do now compared with IE6.
I’m still getting used to not having some of the extensions I’ve gotten used to having at my disposal with Firefox. Guess I’ll just have to wait and compare it to Firefox RC2 when it’s available in the next few months.

Erm… isn’t Firefox 2 RC2 already available ;)

Been available for a few days now. Try again :P
Yes, it is. I should have been a little clearer in my statement. I’ve read that RC2 isn’t real friendly with all the extensions I’m using, so I’m not real eager to upgrade quite yet.
I’ve installed IE 7.0 and I also installed the ‘user agent string’ to fool some websites into thinking I was using IE 6.0.
Even so, I am addicted to Firefox. I use IE ONLY to do windows updates. I’m using 1.5.0.7 firefox and will install the newest one when they get the bugs worked out. Speaking of bugs, is anyone using Flock? I tried it through several releases and it was so buggy, ugh, dumped it!
Thanks. good luck with IE 7
