Twing.com Offers Brand Monitoring Features Through Forum and Community Search

I received an email a few weeks ago about Twing.com, a search engine dedicated to finding information in forums and online communities beyond what traditional search engines provide. It’s a great concept for finding the online buzz about your company or brand. Last month, Twing.com launched two new features – saved search and buzz graph products – to help brand managers gain insight into online brand discussions.
Twing.com still has a ways to go in terms of searching deep into the multitude of online forums, but it’s only been around since January 2008 and already searches thousands of online forums using a proprietary search algorithm. I think over time it should be a useful tool for brand managers to keep up with online buzz but also for small business owners who don’t have the deep pockets to monitor online buzz. Twing.com can help entrepreneurs find forums to target with social marketing and networking tactics.
Have you tried Twing.com yet? What do you think of it?
