Twist Added to WWE Draft

June 11, 2007 by Kris

WWE has announced tonights opening match on Raw and its a big one: WWE Champion John Cena will take on World Heavyweight Champion Edge presumably with the winner’s show getting the first pick in the draft.

The twist for the night will be that all of the matches will pit wrestlers from different shows against each other with the winners show getting the next pick in the draft. There is no indication how many matches or picks there will be but I am hoping that they will be significant. With 3 shows participating the pool may be diluted although I could be proved wrong.

It is also Mr. McMahon appreciation night which is sure to affect the show in some way.

Remember, the show starts one hour earlier than normal at 8 eastern and will be 3 hours in length.
