Twitter Conversations in Your Browser

I am an avid user of Twitter – love it both in terms of sharing but also learning about work, life…well, if it doesn’t sound too grand..the world :)

I vary from using the web site if I don’t want to be distracted to using Tweetdeck for following the conversation. Tweetdeck is clearly much better for following all of your friends conversations but I have to say, being a person who struggles with attention span, it can lead to a drop in productivity!

So I have been wanting an application that is Tweetdeck but web based – with the added benefit of therefore not running the memory hugging Adobe Air. Seesmic have just launched a browser version

  1. Go to http://seesmic.com/app/
  2. Log in to your twitter account
  3. A web based app showing your friends conversations, mentions and direct messages appears.

I have to say I am liking the experience – the main improvements for me personally are

I can control my twitter “addiction” but without having to download a memory sapping application
