Twitter…for management and leadership?

How can 140 characters be used to be a better manager…and a better leader?

Can you really use Twitter to connect at a higher level?

Admittedly, I was skeptical about this. Though I absolutely *love* Twitter for sharing links, for connecting to other thought leaders, and for connecting to insightful people (follow Phil on Twitter), I haven’t taken to it as a manager and leader.

Until now!

Dear friend and insightful management writer Rosa Say has written 5 Twitter tips for managing and 5 Twitter tips for leading.

Here’s a quick sample from these powerful articles:

1 Twitter tip for managing: Follow others who walk in your shoes. Ask good questions. Give as well as you receive, and give more.

1 Twitter tip for leading: Don’t go with the flow: Lead. Be purposeful about Reading and Conversing.

The other 4  tips of each of these articles are just as helpful.

Check out 5 Twitter tips for managing and 5 Twitter tips for leading.

And share your thoughts on how YOU could use Twitter to be a better manager and a better leader.

  1. I guess that’s what they call SHORT AND SWEET. Really, could not have been put in more judicial words. Love the tips and the fact that so few words can convey such important messages.
