Twix Java: The Brand Extension for Caffeine Addicts

I love chocolate, and I like coffee. However, I’m not sure I’m sold on the new Twix Java brand extension that mixes the two by adding a coffee flavor to the caramel found in Twix bars. Mars finally rolled out limited edition Twix Java after showcasing it at last year’s Candy Expo.
I think the packaging is appropriate for Twix Java, and I think the brand extension is a good one (assuming Twix Java candy bars taste good). I’m looking forward to seeing if Twix Java takes off.
I’m not usually a fan of coffee flavored anything other than actual coffee. With that said, I don’t think I’d buy Twix Java, but I’d love to hear if anyone else has given it a try. If you’ve tried Twix Java, leave a comment and let Brandcurve readers know what you think.

I tried it tonight. I thought it was great. I love coffee, I love chocolate and would highly recommend giving it a try.
I loved it. I went to the store and bought some more. I hear they will be taken off the shelf by February 2008.
What a shame. Finally a chocolate thet tastes to satisfy. I highly recommend it.
