Two Powerhouse Windows Live Apps

Microsoft is serious on building a web service market and two applications which they recently released in Beta are Windows Live Folders and Windows Live Photo Gallery.

The Windows Live Folders feature a 500MB online storage service and it is possible that it could be connected to the Windows Vista explorer. The Windows Live Photo Gallery on the other hand is already connected to the Windows Vista photo application allowing users to upload, share photos and digital video.

Unfortunately, both beta applications are not yet available to the general public. I believe the Windows Live Folders is so cool given that there would be no use for online spreadsheet, and word documents.

I am very excited about this as I have a hard time keeping up with my data files given that I use an average of 8 PCs a week.
