Two Teens Charged in PSP Death
Deaths related to video games are always incredibly sad. I don’t care so much about the media backlash (twats like Jack Thompson seriously aren’t worth the energy and oxygen it takes to point your eyeballs in his flailing direction), but it depresses me when people die over dumb material things. There’s no price tag on a life, so when someone like 17-year-old James Felton-Maitland from Miami dies over a PSP robbery attempt, it’s akin to saying, “Your life is worth two hundred bucks.”
Granted, James wasn’t killed in a direct attack; the robbers chased their quarry out into the street and he got hit by a truck. Two boys have been charged with second degree murder.
As the kids say around this here Internet thing: So not worth it.
