Uncharted has it all: platforming, Hollywood explosions, and awesome shooting
I completely ignored Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune when it was being hyped since last year. After all, the game didn’t sound like a shooter and its title didn’t have any recall value for my brain cells. That is until I found out how awesome the shooting is. How awesome? Gears of War awesome.
Alas, the only thing Uncharted doesn’t have (aside from ninjas), is longevity. I’ve heard the game is short and sweet, but it’s much better fleeting than overstaying its welcome.

It’s alright if it’s short since there’s going to be another one in a couple of years.
Yes, but the wait, like you said, is a couple of years, versus 6-8 hours of great gameplay. I’d say it’s pretty lopsided, doncha think?
If I’m going to shed $60 for a game, it could be at least 15 hours long if I were to consider its longevity “decent.”
They should have at least put in some multplayer. None of that Deathmatch, mind you. I’m thinking more in the lines of a scavenger hunt, or even coop. Just please, make the experience a bit longer than 6-8 hours to make the $60 worth it.
