This is a complete disgrace to college football, and the administrators at Virginia should be ashamed of themselves. Every sporting event, be it high school, college or professinal, already has a simple and efficient way of keeping offensive signs out, it’s called checking them at the gate. Apparently, this was too complicated for the adminstration at Virginia. So be it, they have ended a tradition as old as football itself. If you don’t believe it, simply go back and check those old clips of the Big Game or the Ice Bowl, and take the time to look into the stands. You’ll see dozens of signs facing back towards you.
