A couple of days ago, I heard on the radio that 70% of Americans are unhappy in their jobs. As I began to prepare to write today, I opened a book, “The Five O’Clock Club Job Search Workbook,” and the first sentence I read says, 85% of all Americans are unhappy in their jobs.” Whether the number is between 70% and 85%, the number seems high to me. As a result, I am looking for an unofficial poll. I really want to know. Are you unhappy with your job?
Don’t forget to vote! Thank you for your participation!

A great resource for people that find themselves in the situation you speak about is http://www.48days.com. I highly recommend it as a great read for anyone still trying to figure out what they want to do with their life? Or who have finally come to the conclusion that they hate what they’ve spent their lives preparing themselves to do.
Thank you bnpositive for the recommendation. I will check them out later today!
I love my J-O-B…….
I love my job and wouldn’t trade it for anything!!!
I have a the toughest job I’ll always love– teaching. Everyday you see yourself and your students grow.
Well, my job is a 24-hour job — wife and homeschooling mom to 4 kids…. I love it and wouldn’t trade it for a million-dollar-paying corporate job.
Thank you to all of you for sharing your love for your jobs!!
Stef, I am really glad that you left your comment. I think we sometimes miss it in our soceity concerning stay-at-home moms!! I especially love the fact that you are homeschooling your children. I have a friend with 7 children and she has been homeschooling her children over the last 18 years. Her first one just completed high school last year. Keep up the good work!!
You get my vote for Employee of the Month!!
