Upbeat Now: Review

May 20, 2009 by Phil Gerbyshak

Before I give away the 5 free copies of Upbeat Now by Raj Setty, I thought I’d give you my quick review of why I love the book, and why you should pick up a copy for yourself.

First, it’s only got 48 pages of why to remain upbeat. 48 pages of simple but powerful lessons that Raj learning in his years as a journalist, and as a CEO. The book is written in a VERY straightforward manner, with no puffery, just a “here’s what I’ve learned. You can use this too.”

These 48 pages are merely background information, made especially for those who need convincing of the WHY remaining upbeat is the path to success.

I don’t need convincing. I am an upbeat kind of guy. If the book had ended after these 48 pages, as much as I like knowing why Raj thinks it’s important to remain upbeat, I wouldn’t be giving this book away, and I definitely wouldn’t be writing this review for you.

The next 23 pages are the gold.

The next 23 pages are the tips and tricks Raj shares on HOW you can stay upbeat.

Each section in the first part is broken down into 3 simple tips you can use to stay upbeat.

They’re helpful and they’re easy to understand and they’re easy to put into practice.

If you made time every day to do even 1 of these tips, you’d live a better, happier life.

If life has you down, or you think life can ever get you down, then you need to pick up this little book.

Simple.

Powerful.

Effective.

Thanks for writing this book Raj. It all needed to be said.

And it’s better having a friend to pick you up when you get down.
