Using Bounce Dryer Sheets

Maricar over at Keeping the Castle wrote an entry at her blog highlighting 21 uses for Bounce dryer sheets. Though her blog is a housekeeping blog and most of her 21 items probably are of no interest to That Damn PC readers, I would add an additional item to the list from the tech world.

This is a trick I learned from one of those old grizzled printer repairman types. When a printer (particularly an older one) is jamming alot there might be mechanical issues. However, a common cause of printer jams is that paper is being sucked through from the paper tray wrong and sometimes this is because of static electricity sticking the pages together. If you’ve fanned the paper and the static is still a problem, try putting a couple dryer sheets in the bottom of the paper tray.
