Vacations, Ideas and Writing Ahead

When I created The Golden Pencil I more or less agreed to blog at least once a day. Statistics show me that blogging twice a day is even better.
I also have a contract with a client to write four blog entries a week.
Which is just fine, except I’m going on vacation – well, it’s not a vacation, but I will be unavailable and more or less computerless for the better part of a week.
Fortunately, WordPress, the software behind this blog, has what I think of as a ‘drip’ feature. That is, I can write a blog on Sunday (as I’m writing this one) and have it appear on Thursday or Sept. 1 or whatever. That’s great. It means I can fulfill my obligation.
But it also means thinking up a whole bunch of blogging topics all at once. I’m the one who claims to never be out of ideas. Writing ahead is a test of that.
