Pittsburgh folks, your high speed connection and IPTV package has arrived at last via fiber courtesy of Verizon. In contrast to AT&T dropping one million folks off their roadmap for 2008, Verizon has added more people, reaching almost 60,000 households in 14 areas around Pittsburgh suburbs, allowing you to get all of your video, internet, and voice needs in one package. The following communities are able to get FiOS as of November 8th:

Just ordered FIOS and will be the first in my neighborhood to get it. I live just inside the Wilkins township line next to Turtle Creek and I cant wait. Several friends in PGH have FIOS and it’s AMAZING!!.
