Viagra A "Performance Enhancing" Drug?

viagrarunner I recently read an article that stated that some athletes are popping Viagra to enhance their performance during sporting events. How would Viagra boost  their performance? Well we know Viagra increases blood flow to certain areas of the body by boosting Nitric Oxide levels. Nitric oxide is a vaso-dilator. By dilating the vascular system more oxygenated blood floods the muscles, reducing fatigue and also feeding the muscles with valuable nutrients needed to perform at a slightly higher level.

So why Viagra? My question exactly. With so many arginine N.O. (Nitric Oxide) boosters on the market, why would they not use those such as Muscletech’s NaNO x9, or another non-prescription Nitric Oxide booster? Who knows, really. With the exception of perhaps the athletes that are using them. I’d just hate to be the guy running a marathon or something while using Viagra and it suddenly starts working the way it was marketed for.
