(1) It’s awesome to see David Beckham in action.
(2) It’s awesome to see Anderson Cooper flailing around.
(3) It’s true that no one bends it like Beckham and most professional goalies don’t have a chance, never mind Anderson Cooper.
(4) Anderson Cooper was OK, but next time we want to see Katie Couric play goalkeeper. With her stilettos. If we’re lucky, she’ll fall and CBS will fire her.
(5) Forget Katie Couric. We want to see Victoria Beckham in there.

Funny you should mention Katie. Just today we posted a rumor that Pacman Jones’ apology on Michael Irvin’s radio show was so compelling that CBS executives are considering replacing Couric with him … so we’re both rooting for the same outcome. I like the karma.
Then let’s hear it for Karma! Wait, given some of the things we’ve said on this blog, we’d better exercise caution in endorsing the concept . . .
