Check out what Tom Waddle of Sprint Sports has to say about the 2008 Houston Astros. In the season preview, Waddle says to not expect much from the Astros this season. Despite the apparent strides the team has made has made in the offseason, Waddle predicts a fourth place finish in the division. I am expecting much bigger things from the Astros this season.

obviously the guy, or who ever root that report has no idea what he is talking about.
- Loretta is still with the Astros
- Minute Maid is not an “EXtreme” hitters park, its closer to average.
- He ignores Pence.
- Does not mention the improved bullpen
- Does not realize that this years starting rotation, while not impressive, is better than last years.
- Doesn’t mention the potential help from Bourn and Towles.
- Improved defense at 2nd
I think they are likely to be over .500 this year.
