Video Recording Application

Soon enough you knew someone had to do it. The folks over at Monster and Friends have released a demo application that allows you to record video on your iPhone.

This application really has some opportunities. You could record video up to 45 frames per a second (fps). Right now you can only record 5 seconds of video (or video at 2MP quality at10fps for 10 seconds), but when the final version is released expect to be able to record video at 15-30+ fps and have unlimited file length (as long as the amount of free space permits).

Like all other third party applications at this point, you must have a jailbroken (hacked) iPhone, but I think we will really be able to take advantage of this when February comes around.

Version 1 should be released around January 15. Check their website for more details.
