NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Brett Favre feels the Vikings pain
Commissioner Roger Goodell, the Sheriff of the NFL, ruled that the Minnesota Vikings did not tamper with Brett Favre. The contact made by Minnesota did not violate any rules as reported by CBS Sports NFL online
This one has me really perplexed. The commissioner said there were conversations between Minnesota and Brett Favre, but that neither of them was offering a job or services.
Ok, so Brett called up the Vikings and said, “Hey how is the weather up there?” And the Vikings said, “The wind is blowing our way.”
Brett asked, “If desert is served how does it taste?” The Vikings responded, “It is really really rich!”
Brett asked, “What about Tarvaris Jackson? How is he doing?” The Vikings responded, “Oh, we are thinking of buying him a new clipboard.”
Is that how that works?
One gets the feeling that the NFL would like to be done with the Brett Favre mess and move on.
Still it would have been fun to see Brett Favre and Adrian Peterson on the same team.
